Again, this inconsistency is present in all mods and could either be a result of Pandemic sending them an earlier version or modders making changes for some reason (in the case oft he Starblades, it is cooler that they last longer, so I sorta can understand the change). They're supposed to disappear much quicker than they do in modded versions. Regardless, any mod that uses the official Ventress has these inconsistencies since the assets were released pre-compiled as per Pandemic's wishes.įinally, there's the Starblades. Or a dumb decision was made to remove them. There's no sensible reason to make either of these changes, so maybe Pandemic sent them an older version of her that was missing the music and the ability and they just didn't know she was missing a few things and released whatever Pandemic sent them.
For whatever reason, they chose to remove both her hero music ("Anakin's Dark Deeds" like Dooku) and her Force Push. The next two inconsistencies are the fault of the modder who compiled her for the PC version. I suppose "Linksabers" doesn't make much sense without the cord present though. On Xbox, they're called "Asajj Ventress' Linksabers" or something like that. In Marvel4's Conversion Pack, they're simply called "Asajj Ventress' Lightsabers". It seems that Marvel4 also changed the name of her Lightsabers. Pandemic gave the assets to the modding community, but they never released an updated executable to go along with it.

The reason behind this inconsistency is that the PC executable doesn't contain the code required for the cord. On Xbox, there's a cord between the two sabers, so it essentially works like a nunchuck and looks pretty awesome. On PC, she holds both Lightsabers in one hand, making the animation look extremely awkward. This is correct, but there's actually a few differences between the Ventress released on PC and the Ventress seen in the actual DLC.
